2026 1st Cut Farmers Secret Blend Hay

2026 Cut First cut hay is the first cut that is harvested from the field each summer.  It is green and has a slightly thicker stem so is more course and crunchy.  This is our regular harvest Farmers Secret blend. This blend of Grass hay contains 4 different grass types only and those are 2 types of Rye Grass, Barfest Festulolium and Tall Fescue Blend, which are all types of grass that grow really well in our Ontario climate conditions. 2026 crop is simular in texture & colour to our 2025 crop

Weight may vary between bales the following weights are approximate

Full Bales- 36-42 lbs or 16-19 kg

Half Bales- 18-20 lbs or 7-9 kg

1 Kg Bag & 4 Kg box These bags & boxes are our temporary replacement for our mini bales while we work on reconfiguring our equipment after the storm damage. These bags/boxes are flakes of the full bales of hay (not loose hay). Most Bags & boxes contain more than the minimum weight 

1 KG Bags: Minimum of 1KG in these bags 

4 KG Boxes: Minimum of 4KG in these boxes (one kind of hay per box) 

Mini Bales- 2.2 lbs or 1 kg- Not Currently available 

Full bale size- approximately 31x16x13 Inches (some may very in length)
