2026 Late Harvest 1st Cut Farmers Secret Blend Hay

This late harvest 1st cut farmers secret blend was harvested later than our regular farmers secret blend meaning the plant was more mature so it has a green colour with some yellow spots and slightly thicker stems. When the plant is more mature it is more likely to have sun bleaching during the natural drying process. 2026 Cut First cut hay is the first cut that is harvested from the field each summer.  It is green and has a slightly thicker stem so is more course and crunchy.  

This blend of Grass hay contains 4 different grass types only and those are 2 types of Rye Grass, Barfest Festulolium and Tall Fescue Blend, which are all types of grass that grow really well in our Ontario climate conditions. 

Weight may vary between bales the following weights are approximate

Full Bales- 36-42 lbs or 16-19 kg

Half Bales- 18-20 lbs or 7-9 kg

Mini Bales- Avaliable upon request (this hay can be requested in the mini bale variety packs)

Full bale size- approximately 31x16x13 Inches (some may very in length)
